Of many WOW-moments in Cannes, this was perhaps the best one. This is retail business model innovation at it’s very finest.

In most markets, online grocery shopping has never quite taken off. While books, music, tickets and a range of items are now easier bought online than offline, consumers have stuck to traditional shopping patterns when it comes to food stuff.

Well, here’s a video of the future of grocery shopping, Only thing, this is not the future, this is already happening in South Korea. With a twist, this could easily become your grocery reality. Big question is, why isn’t it already?

We’ll be using this Tesco case as a innovation and strategy case in several executive teaching sessions.
